Gravure printing (rotogravure, copperplate printing) – flawlessly precise printing for the most demanding applications

The gravure printing process at Tipoplastika is performed on the BOBST RS 6003C HS, one of the most advanced gravure presses on the market, designed for maximum productivity, speed, and stability in printing flexible materials. This machine enables:

• Printing up to 9 colors, including 7+2 and 8+1 configurations for double-sided printing
• Maximum operating speed up to 400 m/min
• Web width up to 1020 mm
• TAPS – a fully automatic register control and adjustment system, ensuring color position accuracy regardless of design complexity
• 100% visual inspection of printing through an integrated camera system, enabling instant detection and correction of errors in real time
• Printing of matte and heat seal lacquers in register

Thanks to the sophisticated MPI color application system, as well as highly efficient twin-flow dryers and advanced material moisture management systems, excellent color consistency is achieved, even on demanding materials such as PE, OPP, or AL laminates.

In addition to the main press, Tipoplastika also has a smaller rotary gravure press specialized for cold-seal application, enabling the production of packaging with features such as easy open and resealable closures—ideal for confectionery, snack, and children’s products.

Flexographic printing at Tipoplastika is performed on the modern BOBST 20SIX S flexo press, which revolutionizes speed, automation, and print control. This press offers:

• Printing up to 8 colors
• Maximum web width up to 1100 mm
• Printing on various flexible mono and multilayer materials, including paper, polymer, and laminated substrates
• Smart GPS – a digital system for fast and precise print setup before start-up, with automatic calibration and minimal material tension
• Integrated camera system with 100% inspection
• Support for printing with photopolymer plates and endless sleeves, providing extreme design flexibility and production volumes
• Printing of lacquers in register – enabling additional aesthetic and functional effects on packaging

The BOBST 20SIX also features ventilation systems with frequency regulators, ensuring low emission of vapors and meeting the strictest requirements for environmental and workplace safety.
