High-Performance Flat Extrusion and Lamination – Superior Control, Flexibility, and Quality for Modern Packaging Requirements

RX 400F

A Practical Advancement in Flexible Material Processing

The Bobst RX 400F, installed at Tipoplastika, has significantly expanded our capabilities in the production of laminated and coated structures.

We apply PE film to paper (40–100 g/m²), aluminum foil (6.35–20 μm), and various flexible films in precisely defined thicknesses. Multilayer structures are produced by passing the material through the same machine multiple times. A single pass through the machine yields duplex materials, while two passes enable the production of triplex materials.

Demand for materials that preserve product quality, offer stable mechanical properties, and are recyclable is steadily increasing. The RX 400F allows us to deliver exactly such materials for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and other industries with continuous layer thickness monitoring and stable processing from the beginning to the end of each production run.

Technical Support from Concept to Finished Product

Technical Support from Concept to Finished Product
Our team of engineers and technicians has extensive experience in designing and optimizing multilayer materials. We are involved from raw material selection and pilot production to final quality control. The goal is for every package to meet the required mechanical, barrier, and visual parameters.

Rapid Transition from Testing to Production

Material testing and development at Tipoplastika are carried out directly on standard machines, under real production conditions and at full speed. This ensures that the performance of each layer meets the actual requirements of packaging and application.

Laboratory analyses accompany every stage of development and provide detailed quality assessment, identical to regular production orders. Each structure is predefined and checked through a clearly established process to ensure that the final material meets all technical, functional, and regulatory criteria.

Proven Market Experience
For over six decades, we have worked with clients across the region and the EU. Our references include projects for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, as well as special technical applications, ranging from standard to complex laminates.

Types of Materials and Areas of Application

Food Industry

The Bobst RX 400F at Tipoplastika enables the production of laminates and coated materials from paper, aluminum foil, BOPP, PET, PA, OPA, PE, and laminated structures, in thicknesses and weights specified in the technical documentation. By combining these materials, it is possible to achieve structures with barrier properties against moisture, oxygen, and external odors suitable for packaging food products, including fresh and processed foods, frozen items, snacks, coffee, tea, and other dry goods.

Pet Food

The technical capabilities of the RX 400F line allow for the production of laminates and coated materials from multiple types of films and paper in specified thicknesses, ensuring strength and stability of packaging for dry and wet pet food. Barrier properties against moisture and gases, achieved by combining compatible layers, help preserve the quality and freshness of the product.

Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Cosmetic Industry

Using the materials listed in the technical specifications (paper, aluminum foil, various plastic films, and laminates), the RX 400F can produce laminated structures that provide barrier protection against moisture and gases. These structures are suitable for packaging pharmaceutical products, medical devices, cosmetics, and chemical items, in accordance with the requirements for maintaining quality and extending shelf life.
