Final Processing of Packaging: Slitting of Rolls and Bag Converting
We specialize in precise roll slitting and the production of bags in various shapes and structures as part of our final packaging processing.
Final Slitting and Converting
At Tipoplastika, final converting includes two specialized services:
🔹 Slitting of Rolls – Cutting large rolls into narrower strips on high-precision slitter lines. We ensure a clean cut, controlled tension, and precisely defined dimensions for further processing.
The slitting process involves cutting large jumbo rolls of flexible material into narrower, technically precise strips. At Tipoplastika, this is performed on six specialized slitter lines that enable:
- Precise control of tension and strip width
- Clean cuts without edge damage
- Efficient rewinding and stacking of rolls for further processing
The machines support various types of laminates, foils, and films (PE, BOPP, PET, paper, etc.), with minimal deviation tolerance.
🔹 Bag Converting and Sheeting
Specialized converting lines enable the production of bags in various material combinations, shapes, and sizes, according to technical requirements of the product and its final application.
In addition, the process includes sheeting of flexible materials – producing precisely defined sheet formats.
✔️ Multilayer material combinations (monomaterials, laminates)
✔️ Various bag shapes and sizes
✔️ Stable repeatability and flawless finishing quality
Bag converting is tailored to industries requiring high levels of protection, functionality, and packaging presentation.
